In 1935 nearly every major championship was won by Detroit. A total of 33 titles, victories, pennants, and trophies were brought home to the city. This was the first NFL Championship for the Lions, the first World Series win for the Detroit Tigers, and the first Stanley Cup for the Red Wings. Joe Louis was on his way to world domination and Gar Wood was supreme in motorboat racing world.
